With 2008 fast approaching, I have decided that the best (?) New Year's Resolution I can make is to notify my e-mail friends that I will no longer even open any messages which I suspect contain religious or political content. I will also refuse too forward anything to 3 or 10 or 30 other people. If it must be forwarded, keep me off the list, because the chain STOPS here. Since I already have formed my religious and political preferences, and think it rude to take up my friends time with nonsense, my choice will be to enjoy news, photos and of course jokes.

I'm sure the time I have spent poring over between 20 to 30 e-mails daily can well be more productively and enjoyably spent, and over a year's time, who knows what those extra minutes can provide. Time will tell, and I expect to have more of it!
