This week I am working very hard, I’m doing The Jive and we’re also doing a group dance which is a rock ‘n roll number that is really fun.  They brought out the crash pad mattress for us, because we were going to do some lifts. I decided, especially after the incident with Carrie Ann, I wanted to lift higher than anyone else. Well the guys had been looking at us girls and deciding who could lift who, who was too heavy and how this was going to work.  I looked at Tony and said, “I’m not afraid, take me up there.”  I think my feet are the highest in the dance.  In fact my feet, my toes are going to the moon, so watch out for this.  I decided to throw caution to the wind and really have a lot of fun with this. 

The Jive is making me feel like I’m a teenager again.  So really I think this whole dancing thing is inspirational to me and I hope it is to other people who are reading my blog.  I must say I feel that this is one of the great moments in my life to be doing this.  It’s having a fantastic effect on me, on my family, on my body.  I seem to be losing weight so fast,  it’s now a question of trying to keep it on.  But I have more energy than I’ve ever had, my back has not been an issue at all.  I cannot believe what ballroom dancing has done for me and I hope this inspires some of you.
