This little cottontail sits in our yard, near our feet, looking up at us like he wonders what we're thinking. He's so cute. Since I posted this, I've given him whiskers and finished the painting, I guess I need to post another scan here of the finished rabbit!

He's one of our long eared pets, Pedro the donkey is the other. Pedro has taken to hanging out by our bedroom window at night, if he thinks he wants some pellets, he brays, and Robert gets out of bed, gets the pan of pellets from under the bed, and sits at the window, feeding Pedro. What a spoiled donkey and how is this going to work when it's 40 below or a blizzard is raging? Naturally, Pedro will be even hungrier then! But we have a soft spot for Pedro and he's such a great little guy, he'll probably get his pellets, no matter what the weather is doing.
