i miss my best friend

my friend lori died this past april 19 but not a day goes by that i don't miss her and i still cry so easily just thinking of her and the times we spent together. Oddly enough it was her last days in the hospice center that stick with me most as i was with her to her death...
she was the best friend i ever had. We spent so much time together, we went shopping together...lori had COPD so i saw her going downhill steadily...
i miss you lori...i just wanted to write it out too...i love you.

We did things together, too, and it seems we had our children in "pairs"--one for her, one for me--we took our kids to the movies together; she and I went shopping together; but mostly, we were just there for each other. It does get better, though. You NEVER forget, but you do reach the point where you can talk about that person without crying; you remember all the good things, and those memories bring a smile to your face.

Hang in there! She's watching over you in a special way and is there to help you through this time. LET HER!!! God bless you!
