The shadow and light playing on the petals was too hard to resist. I love to photograph flowers.
It's time to start planting seeds for next years blooms and this year I have new seeds from my friend Jim. We helped clear and plant his property a few years ago and he has given me seeds for butterfly bush ,purple cone flower and a few other ones.
I have some desert plants I put in last year in flower for the second time.
