Three days ago, we decided to make chili. In one of my non brain function moments, I thought I could get away with not soaking the beans. Guess what, we had our first taste of the chili today and the beans are still not quite done. :) How crazy. Next time, I'll go back to soaking the beans.

We've had these beans on the stove, boiling heartily away, during the day and in the crock pot at night. Boy are they good though.
