I love Pandas. When I was a little girl I received a stuffed Panda for Christmas one year. It was huge, in fact larger than me at the time. There has been a fascination with pandas ever since. Actually, I have a fascination with most animals. The pandas are just one of my favorites. A few years ago I came across an article about Hua Mei at the San Diego Zoo. She was a year old and the article was about her birthday. It mentioned a Panda Cam on the zoo's web site. I've been hooked on this cam since that time. I watched Hua Mei grow and become a beautiful adult. She is now living in China at the Wolong Nature Reserve. I've watched three other siblings of hers enter the world and thrive. Her brother, Mei Sheng will be traveling to China soon. It's amazing to me that a creature that large can give birth to a cub that weighs maybe 4 ounces and handle the cub so delicately.
After watching the Panda Cam from the San Diego Zoo I also starting watching one from the National Zoo in Washington DC and most recently one from the Atlanta Zoo. So now I can see pandas in several stages of life. They are magnificent creatures.

Take a minute out of your busy schedule and watch the Pandas. They will have you smiling and relaxed in no time.
