The Truth Is I Am
One with the Father of All
Now and Forever.
The Truth Is I Am
The Pure Consciousness of God
Thinking otherwise.
The Truth is I Am
What I think I Am for as
Long as I think it.
The Truth is I Am
Now and forever in spite
Of contrary thought.
The Truth is I Am
Outside the Will of God when
I think that I am.
The Truth is I Am
A Divine Sense of Being
Conscious as I Am.
The Truth is I Am
An Infinite potential
To Be what I see.
The Truth Is I Am
An "evolving" center of
Pure Self-Awareness.
The Truth is I Am
A Divine Idea in the
Consciousness of God.
The Truth is I Am
A Perfect Thought entertained
In the Mind of God.
The Truth is I Am
God's Divine Thought of Being
Consciously Aware.
The Truth is I Am
Not these words, but the State of
Being they point to.
[Rich Note: Athough a number of these "The Truth Is I AMs" came from "Out of My Mind and Back to My Senses," the majority originated this morning.]
[Rich Note: As Sri Nisargadatta once said (and this may be a paraphrase): “I can truly say I Am, everything else is conjecture.” In other words, the only thing I can ever have absolute certainty about is the fact I Am, the fact of my own BEING; for everything else interjects a degree of relativity, probability and uncertainty into being. Thus, saying anything more than “The Truth is I Am,” as the "haiku-style pointers” do above, adds a degree of conjecture, even though it might be highly probable, that is not Perfectly True (relative worlds are, by definition, only "half-truths" at best) by Absolute Standards. So please bear this in mind if you choose to ponder any of the “Points” being made.]
[Biblically speaking, “And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is the truth” (1 John 5:7); “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32); “Jesus saith unto him, “I AM the way , the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.” (John 14:16).]
[Rich Note: For a rather extensive list of much briefer “I AM" characterizations (I also like to call them "discriptors") extracted from the “Bible,” “The Heart of Awareness Gita” and Jean Klein’s “I AM,” please see “The Ultimate Name Game #2” link at the “What Is Truth?” archival website that has served as a public “State of the Head Message,” since 1998 (witruth.home.comcast.net). The “Background” link at the same URL might also be useful to those who would like more context with respect to Rich Hay's "me, myself and I" story.]
