Oh joy. Looks like we're going to do the cancer thing again. Apparently I have all the boxes checked as a high probability candidate for endometrial (uterine) cancer.

  1. Post menopause? check
  3. irregular periods before menopause? check
  5. Took Tamoxifan? check
  7. Overweight? check
  9. Pain in abdomen? check
  11. Vaginal bleeding past menopause? check
  13. Thickened uterine lining? check.


We will know more on the 22nd, when I have the D&C and the dr. can get a good report on what's going on in there. Hopefully it will be nothing, but endometrial is better than the other kind (sarcoma?) At least endometrial is mostly self contained, at least in the early stages, so a hysterectomy usually takes care of it.

But, even so, I'm a bit worried.
