It’s not like I don’t have enuf critter problems up here on the mountain side. I now have warnings appearing in the KY news of herds of wild hogs running around the territory. Bears and pumas and hogs… Oh my!
Trust me, I’d a thousand times have bears and other critters running around up here than wild hogs. These critters are believed to be descendants of the original farm hogs which were released to feed in the wild many many moons ago. Do I have them in the area? Oh yeah! The dogs brought a skull home last month… and I do have it hanging in the mimosa out back to let it weather out.
or view linkI want a pizza! All meat, extra cheese, shrooms and onions! That’s one of the few things I miss about living in the city… They don’t deliver here in the mountains. And it is way too hot to travel today. 94 deg in the shade… Was 104 in the sun when I rolled out at 1300. This has been a miserable summer for me. Oh well, this too will pass.
And so will the doggy fur fall out. I have to tell you all that I got
Several suggestions as to what I should do with the dog hair. Some really good ideas:
Comb fur, roll between hands, make balls of yarn to crochet
Or knit. I did a small amount and crocheted a few rows. It works. If hair belongs to strange dog… microwave first.
Use matted dog fur as mulch to keep weeds down around plants. This one sounds good to me… Mix in cigar filters for loosening clay soil also works… keeps insects at bay too.
OK, so now I have a doggy sing-song going in the hall. Sheesh! They crack me up… lolol Also deafen me! All six are in the house. They have spent the whole summer inside and I do feel sorry for all those poor critters who don’t have any shelter in this weather.
Hey I have a question here… if somebody could help me identify this plant… is a vine…has ovate leaves and clusters of flowers which look like or are similar to sweet peas. The colors are different tho… almost a coppery bronze mixture on each flower.
or view linkTook this photo in direct sun… will try again after the sun is lower in the sky. I swear I cannot see anything on the cam when the light
is that bright outside. Does anybody else have this problem?
Today seems to be a grumpy day for me…I’m having all kinds of problems with my MSWord. I seem to have done sumfin and can’t figure out how to undo it! I still have a May 2010 News letter reappearing everytime I open Word. Lolol I’ve erased this darned thing every day… many times every day! Nothing works… lolol
Where’s the vanilla!
A BIG good news… One of my rotten Brats out there has gone thru a lot of treatments and has come up clear on the latest tests!
Way to go, mine! This mean lil old lady threatened all kinds of bad treatment and abuse if he didn’t straighten up! Gotcha My Brat!
Hugs and love to you and yours… Oh, btw, the threat still holds!
Guess that’s if for the time being… More art work to take care of.
Take care all of mine…go in safety always. Remember… if kindness doesn’t work, threats might! Now I have the giggles!
Many hugs, much love and loads of lafter meems

I think the vine might be a species of trumpet vine or clematis- but not too certain. Does wisteria in your part of the country bloom in any other shade than lavender, white and pink? It does here.
As for the doggy hair- make doggy mattresses for doggy beds! Of course that would be for doggies that sleep in their own bed and not the meems.
