Here it is the second day of August and school is over, well at least for 20 days. Its another “A” for the transcript. I signed up for fall online classes, and will be taking Art History I. Three classes in succession and its been great. The wife has officially retired as of the 31 of July, and we plan on doing a little traveling. In order to continue with our education (she attends also, Anthropology) we opted for the online classed offered from the local technical college. When we tire of traveling we will attend classes at the campus or transfer to the 4 year college here, I want to pick up some more drawing and painting classes.
It’s a great time for both of us, I think our first trip will be to Florida sometime in October, weather permitting, we will be going via the gulf coast highways. It will probably take two or three weeks, there isn’t any sense in tiring yourself out. We are expecting our first grandchild in December and will be spending time where my son lives. It’s going to be a busy year end.
Saturday is the retirement party at the house and I am looking forward to it, she got a small party at work. We will have about 12 people here and I will cook the burgers and everyone will bring something. I might even post a few pics.
