In the present economy there are thousands of people that have lost there jobs due to the economy. One group of these is the Baby Boomers.

These are the ones that have the experience and knowledge
that built businesses and maybe half the infrastructure in our world today.

Yet these are the same ones that are being cast aside not only by businesses but also by the younger bosses with their degrees who think that it would be way too expensive to hire them.

Their experience and knowledge is not valued any more specially by the younger set. What was once looked upon
with great respect and 'how can you help us build our business' is now treated with 'why should we hire you'.

About 3 to 5 months ago I was watching CNN and they had a group of people 1/3 young and educated 2/3 older and experienced and knowledgeable and educated - they also had a recruiter and an employer of a temp agency - the way this recruiter and employer treated the older people really made me upset - treating these experienced workers as if they had to once again prove why they should be hired.

Us'ns have the best work ethic, show up on time, put in a full days work, are problem solvers and yet were treated like this.

Maybe all of us'ns should go back to school and learn the computer/internet and pick the area that we know most about and develope a website to earn and not rely on the young who don't respect us anymore.
