[Rich Note: “A wonderful servant, but a terrible master,” the human mind’s capacity for identifying and solving problems is rather amazing. Even more amazing, however, is its capacity to manufacture problems where none exist in order to stay in business -- to keep moving endlessly, almost like a shark that has to move constantly in order to breath, or die.]
[Rich Note: Interesting, as well, is that somewhere along the evolutionary line the development of an “opposing thumb” allowed man to use tools, while an “opposing brain” allowed him to use self-reflective thought to avoid showing up at the watering hole when the sabertooth tigers did. Unfortunately, in the process, said “human mind” (as a carnal or relative state of consciousness) became the equivalent to a “mental thumb” that “would be king!”]
[Rich Note: Should anyone wonder about my thoughts on evolution (physical and/or spiritual), I would suggest that physical evolution is an outer reflection of an evolutionary expansion in our individual and Collective Consciousness of Being (from the inside-out), and that the "7 Days of Creation" the Bible references is still in the process of working out in time from every point of view except One (God's)! Just a pet theory that seems to fit the rest of what I understand to be true.]
