Arti Gras Eureka is another addition to Eureka Springs’ ever popular Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Extravaganza. Conceived within a very evident Artists’ Colony, Arti Gras Eureka fills the void for the Monday before Fat Tuesday.
Eureka Gras Mardi Gras Extravaganza has expanded from a Six-Day Carnival celebration to Seven days — consisting of the Kings Day gala on Jan. 11, the masquerade balls, downtown parade, and jazz brunch during Feb. 4th through 7th, and now Arti Gras Eureka will be celebrated during Feb 14th, 15th, and 16th – punctuated by the Krazo 2nd Line Krawl on Tues, Feb 16th.
Arit Gras artist submissions will be adult oriented based on being tastefully risque and frisky art productions. The various themes will be centered on Valentines Day, Presidents Day, and Mardi Gras Day with showings at the Rowdy Beaver Restaurant & Tavern.
