Are you capable of unconditional love? Sounds easy doesn't it. It should be easy enough to love your family , friends and strangers. Right? You have to love your family, you pick your friends and you don't even have to talk to strangers but if they start acting badly, get addictied to drugs, tell lies on you, can you still love them? Believe me it ain't easy! But I do try. It may not be possible to even have a relationship with them, any more but don't give up. If you pray , pray for them and yourself. Ask for the strentgh to keep loving them even when they make it clear they don't love you. If they stay away , just accept it, love them from afar. Maybe the time will come when your relationship will mend itself. If not you are doing the right thing. Try not to take it personal. It is their problem not yours. Do not let their negitivity soil your life. I am saying this because I practice unconditional love every day and I pray that one day it will pay off. In the meantime, when I need an example of unconditional love I look to my little dog Smoke. He loves me no matter what. He doese not judge me or try to change me. We can learn a lot about love from our pets.
