As 250 plus wedding guests assembled, the procession of the wedding party commenced. To accompany the joyous parade, the vocalist sang the traditional Ave Maria. For purposes of this blog, I will invite my cousin, Celine Dion, to use her haunting voice to extol the Mother of Jesus.

So I guess every Catholic man marries a virgin, according to tradition. Of course, in the time of Jesus the bride was arranged by the family and the time of consummation of the marriage was about 13 years old.

So another Dion, namely Amy Dion, will enter the family and add to the folk-lore that will be our history. My brother and his wife came in from Connecticut and are due here shortly. I returned the tux this morning humming, “After the Ball is Over.“
