When i was young i learned a lot of values from my parents and gran parents . Even though i didn't observe those values till i hit the thirty year mark . I finally grew up . Those values kicked in and use them to this day .
I have watch kids grow up and didn't seem they cared much about life . A lot of them had no respect . Some didn't seem to respect themselves .
I may be wrong but so many young kids of this day and time are the same way probably worst . There are a lot of responsible young adults as well guess it all balances out .
When we become Senior Citizens I mean the ones that can get discounts for coffee and such . Isn't that great we can save a few Penney's on coffee ., 5% on Senior Citizens day at our local grocery store . Wow !!!
I notice we also find God to be more important in our life , At least i have . I think of God all the time He gives me strength to live , smile on a bad day , If my leg i hurting i know it's my fault it's messed up , not Gods . We all have bad times in our lives but it isn't God's fault . It's called "Life' . We have to take the bad with the good and pray the good out plays the bad .

I feel blessed to have peace within "
I live as a low classed citizen , government wise "
I have a heart of gold , rich in compassion for others "
I have ability to think , unless age takes it away "
I am poor in money , rich in life's Odyssey "
