I have been online for over 10 years now and find it a great place to make friends, but the extra money is what I am really here for. The thing I notice more each day (especially here on Eons) is some people really get their shorts in a bunch if they find out you have anything to promote that earns money???
I get around quite a bit and see all kinds of retired people that are pitifully broke and have nothing they can do about it but sit around and wait to die. It seems to get worse the older they get and that's when it should be the most rewarding. To see my grandkids achieve things in their lives and being free enough to travel so I can be a part of it is my idea of paradise.
I'm not even saying everyone should be doing this, but what's the big deal about letting it go for those who do? I get the idea that taking part labels me as obnoxious and I don't push it on anyone. I just leave a few comments here and there and wait for those who want to know more to contact me.
After all, the Internet is certainly well know as a marketplace, so what's wrong with us old folks getting a little slice of the pie?
See you online!
