Let's be honest here. As a businessman, the tried and true method to running a business properly is to put people into positions where they understand the concept of business. It's no different in Government.
I have three very simple rules for the creation of Cabinet appointments to do the right job.
1. Any person to fill a position, such as Treasury Secretary, should have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the field of finance - not twenty minutes.
2. The individual to be appointed CANNOT have any Federal or State debts or obligations.
3. I will NOT consider anyone who is currently, or within the past 7 years been a lobbyist, elected official, or party official.
Americans are tired of polical appointments that are nothing more than "pay-offs" or political favors. We need people of value, honesty and integrity to man the heads of Federal Departments that represent the PEOPLE of this country. We are finished with appointments that serve the "greater good" of PACs, Special Interests and high-paying campaign donors.
Lastly, I don't believe in "Czars", and will not apoint any persons to the position of Czar.
It's time to put the people in charge of America's Government, and get the government out of people's everyday life.
