So, I'm back home in Erie. Cheery Erie. Erie-sistable Erie. All that Chamber of Commerce stuff still works for me.

At the moment I'm staying at my sister's place until more permanent accomodations can be made. Hopefully that won't take too long. Her place is so small you have to walk outside to change your mind.

I am using the computer at the public library. I got here on a free shuttle bus that runs around the downtown area. That is a wonderful thing. While the weather is quite a bit cooler than what I left in Dallas, that is the only negative on my return to Erie at this point.

Well that negative part has to be looked at a bit more though. My physical condition has been effected adversely by the cooler temperatures. Walking is a bit more difficult and things are a bit more painful. It is probably only a matter of acclimating to the local conditions. After a few weeks, hopefully any discomfort now will only be a memory.

Besides, what's a little discomfort compared to being closer to people who care?
