Here I am again, late as usual. We've been boondoggling around the Midwest, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri etc and are now headed to Los Angeles, CA.
This morning we had our first snow of the season on Vail Pass in Colorado, it was pretty and reminded me of my favorite season of the year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love to decorate the house, cook and bake and invite people. Usually I spent that time at home, Bob has to fend for himself out there.
Tonight we are stopped in a small town in Utah and it's close to 80 degrees, we go through all seasons in a matter of a couple of days, no wonder my allergies can't keep up with me.
We went home for a few days and attended the Kansas state fair in Hutchinson, that was a lot of fun. I pigged out on funnel cake and we watched a demolition derby. I don't know why I love demolition derbies, there must be something primal in me that I keep well hidden! Or maybe I like it because these people have found a great way to get rid of road rage.
This blog's picture was taken in Wisconsin, I saw that house on a previous trip but didn't have my camera out. Makes me think you shouldn't cut corners when you want to move your house.
I finished knitting a sweater for my daughter, you can see a picture of it on the knitting group page, and am now working on a sweater for myself.
