I got up this morning, my mornings begin at 10am, with the intentions of doing some weeding in the flower bed in the west facing front yard. I changed my mind after feeding the dogs, taking a shower, eating breakfast, checking my eons groups, my e-mail and going to the snail-mail mail box at about 2pm.
I will wait until late this afternoon, I like the warm weather but not the direct sun like I used to. The yard is starting to take shape after a couple of years now. I put in two flower beds the first of last year near the street and along both sides of the entrance walkway. I have a number of flowering plants. Now this year there are a multitude of weeds. I didn’t mulch at the beginning of the growing season. I will know better next year.
The back yard is turning out very well also and maybe someday I will post a before and after photo. It is the extension of our living room, if you will. We do some entertaining there and before it got to warm and humid cooked ate breakfast there a lot. It like the rest of the yard is a work in progress and a labor of love. I think I mentioned the privacy fence in the last post and I just received a call from them, they will start construction tomorrow. I will be a busy week with the construction and the company we have.
