Well yesterday was the official closing of summer.We had a cool Summer.The thing I look forward to the most is our State Fair.I remember taking the bus when we were younger and staying all day.Coming home getting our hand stamped and getting in free the next day.We saw some great musical acts there.We saw the Supremes, Johnny Cash,the Cowsills,Oliver,Andy Gibb,Sonny and Cher,three dog night,alice Cooper, Paul Revere and the raiderS,Kenny Rodgers,all for free.Well the fun is coming to an end.I'm hoping this is not true but they said this was the last State Fair.We have the oldest running State Fair in the country.It opened in 1839.What a shame.Below are just a few pictures I took while we walked and snacked our way through the fair.
