Last week, 1-800-Flowers became the first retailer to open a storefront on Facebook, letting customers order flowers without leaving the Facebook site.

Now, the Financial Times reports that e-commerce on Facebook is spreading. At least 20 more retailers will open for business via Facebook in the next couple of months. New businesses will include "very large general merchandise and very large electronics retailers," according to the developer. Read more.
