I am feeling very strong in my Spirit that this country needs a radical change.

I have been very fortunate all my life.
I have never really wanted for anything.
We have always had a roof over our heads, food for our stomachs. If our children growing up need medical attention they recieved it.
We may not have had the cabbage patch dolls the year they were the rage or the name brand on the butt the jeans the year they came out.
That is life!

In the last thirty years I have seen many young women raising their children on their own.
These women have had two and three jobs with no
benefits. One I remember always just a day of having the electric shut off.

Who helped them?
They made too much money!
Too much money this Goverment is a hoot!
They have no idea up there in that ivory tower of theirs what is really happening down in the real world.

Have they ever lived an ordinary life?
If they have do they remember where they came from?

Think back to the year 1969, 1970,1971,1972.
Do you remember those years?
How about the family values.
Did you dare to talk back to an adult?
How did you feel then?
Who was the core family,
Where did they live?

In these last 10 years it is the norm that the children are living with the parents,with their own spouses and children.

I have seen such a change in the family unit.

Three generations living under one roof.
Suprisingly sometimes four generations.

We are now taking care of our elderly parents,
We are taking care of our grandchildren as well as our children.

Why?

Our parents thought they would be able to retire
and live a normal golden years existence.

I can tell you only from my experiences.
Dad died at 50 years. A little early for the plan to take effect. Mom not trained in anything has her little retail job. Still raising her youngest which is only 10 years.

I am the eldest at twenty-six with my own two little ones. She gets a very little pension that is stopped in ten years. There is a gap a big gap.
And so the cycle goes.....

This also happened to two of my friends moms.
With this they lost their homes, and security.
remember they were to young for social security.
they got help for the short time till their youngest graduated. But those pensions stopped as well...

Our church had a street ministry, there are many who are not even getting the basic needs met.
It is not because they don't work.
It is not because the churches are not trying to fill the gap.

Our country needs to reform.
We need to help our own citizens up and out of the cycles.

We need to stop taxing the workers so harshly.
The help is not coming because "you make too much money"
I would like to know but what is this standard calculated?

Who needs a pension of millions a year?
Lets put a cap on How much an goverment offical can take as a pension.
I think four thousand is generous.
We all know that is above poverty.

We need to cut the fat off the top.

When the budgets do not balance the Senators , Governers do not get paid.
You know if you worked like that you would be out of a job ASAP.

If we cut their healthcare they can collect medicare, medicade, their essentials you would see them scramble.

If you fill their mansions up with all their relatives you would see them scramble.

If they had to walk in the shoes of the people for one day, you would see changes.

You can have a black coffee on us if you perk it yourself.
One can a week is in the budget.

Sorry we are not picking up any more dinners or parties. No more business lunches I say they should brown bag it also!

If you are going to impose a new tax I have a suggestion, Caviar, Champane.
Sorry if I spelled them wrong I don't indulge in such things.

If they had to live on a street corner, they would be more compassionate.
