Life, as I've known it for 58 years, is coming to an end. After 40 years of steady employment and income, I've now been without a job or income for the past 15 months. And, now, I am officially broke with no means to pay the rent for next month or the bills for this month.

I have no idea what happened to place me in this position. During the past year, I applied for dozens of jobs and gotten invited to only two interviews, both of which failed to produce a job offer. What's wrong with me that suddenly no company in the Dalls area has any interest in hiring me - a loyal, honest, drug-free, educated, intelligent older American? I can't even get hired as a clerk for a 7-eleven store.

Aside from the deaths of my parents, this is easily the most depressing thing that has ever happened to me in my life. Now, I must beg for charity from my friends and family or, in two weeks, be homeless as well as jobless.

I've searched far and wide over the internet for a work-at-home job but everything I can find seems to be a scam or wants money to provide information about their services. Isn't there anything out there for me to do for pay? I'll do anythng that is honest and doesn't require spamming or scamming other people.
