Last week I went out to my garage and I couldn't believe how bad it smelled. My brother came over to help me clean and it was stunning. Possums had decided my garage was an excellent bathroom. My cabinet top has possum poop and urine all over it. In the end I had to throw away almost everything in the garage.
So my brother and I went and got rat poison (wasn't sure it wasn't rats), but I did not put it out. But next morning, something had eaten half the box that was on the counter. Good, problem solved. Not so fast. Two days later possum poop.
Now I am making sure my cats are okay and then shutting the garage door. By the way, the possums were pooping florescent green because of the poison. No, I still have possums but at least they are not in my garage ruining everything. They are just eating every single fig on my trees. But it's better than cleaning urine and poop!!! Isn't Mother Nature wonderful!!!
