When I was first diagnosed my M-spike was 3.8. As the cancer (a type of bone cancer) progresses the M-spike goes higher. Instead mine has gone lower and last lab results indicated an M-spike of 3.1. I have not accepted any traditional medical treatment but instead have gone "vegan," meaning I have stopped eating meat, chicken, fish, and milk products. I eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruit and do juicing: carrot juice and a green juice composed of spinach, kale, parsley and chard.
Since I am also diabetic I have a glass of juice, 1/3 carrot and 2/3 green, 6-8 times a day. A month ago i went off one of my two diabetic pills and my blood sugar levels are close to normal!
I am in year 4 of the multiple myeloma and know of no person receiving traditional treatment who has the same "good" results that I have.
I have been reading up on various cancer cures: a lot of nonsense in this area, by the way, but I found studies done several years ago where cesium has had a profound effect on cancer cells so I am going to start taking that. I will keep people posted on what this does for me. (Cesium is a natural compound that is extremely alkaline--cancer cells cannot exist in such an alkaline environment so . . . By the way, I am Stage I with MM. Still have no symptoms except for the presence of the plasma (cancer) cells. I started out very enemic but I am now low normal or normal. I still have no bone damage whatsoever. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week, swim everyday when i can--I am in Florida right now!!.
More as I know more. Richard

I hope that you have nothing but success in the treatment path you are going down. My best friend died this last December. He was diagnosed in June of 2003 and went down the traditional medical path. He worked hard at controlling his MM with two bone marrow transplants and an everchanging cocktail of drugs. He died of kidney failure, he felt caused by the drug regimine he took.
I miss Jeff alot Richard, he was a role model for me being a great father, husband, and businessman involved in the community. He will be with me all the rest of my days. I am encouraged by your success and wish for you many, many, many years of healthy happy days!

I have created a website, at the suggestion of a friend, to keep people posted on my progress--or lack of progress if it comes to that. The only med I am taking is for my diabetic condition and this month I have suddenly normal much of the time--today my blood level was 98 which is middle-normal.
I have joined an MM forum and am saddened at all that people are going though in following the traditional routine--hopefully I can provide PROOF of another way.
