I received this in my email from EONS and I don't appreciate it.

No, it's not okay at all. That user signed up and blatantly violated the Eons Terms of Use by sending spam. Their account was deleted this morning (and the other spammer has just given the boot), but not before they could pump out the junk they did. The message wasn't in any way something Eons endorsed, but the site faithfully e-mailed the new "guestbook comment" out.

I couldn't agree with you more, though -- these people are ruining the experience here. We're working on steps to make it much, much harder for these guys to wreak havoc, but I apologize for the tremendous nuisance they've already been able to cause. I hope the admittedly bad experience today won't keep you from coming back, though -- for every spammer that sneaks in and tries to ruin things, there are many great members doing fantastic things.

amen and AMEN! Thank you Matt, I was going to give this till tomarrow, maybe see it in a different light. Had I not....I would be looking for my unsubscribe options.

I havent logged in often as of late, but I remember before I moved and got some turmoil in my life, I DID enjoy this group.

The main reason i have my guestbook set where i get to approve comments is so i can keep spam from appearing there amongst the lovely graphics friends post.
Please stick around we do a lot of 'self-monitoring' reporting such abuses to the eons help team.
