Yesterday my youngest daughter graduated from college with a BA in English. It was s o good to see her walk up and get her diploma. She suffers from the mamaw affliction the same as I do and hasn't always been able to function outside the house. But more on that later.
After graduation we went to a local casino to eat lunch. There were 12 of us, including her in-laws. I really like her in-laws. All three of my grandsons were there. I tend to be silly with them. I teased and messed with m oldest daughter's youngest son. We are always playing practical jokes on each other. My youngest daughter's son is 5 and I can get downright goofy with him.
Most of us were through eating. Just talking and waiting on the others to finish and the 5 year old started getting restless. I had the bright idea to show him how to blow a spitball through his straw. He was grinning big time, aiming at everyone.
I spent the day laughing and talking. Then last night thinking about it, I wondered if I was too silly. I mean, I am a grandmother and all. I just don't know. What I do know is, I won't change. I am having too much fun.
'Here lies my wife
Here lies she.
Hallelujah!
Hallelujee!'
