Just as my 35 year old daughter was arriving for a three day visit, I began to have tooth pain. Now, tooth pain is nothing new, but since I have fewer and fewer teeth as I grow older, it gets more dreaded every time. I decided to ignore it and have a good time with my daughter. Well, that lasted the first two days and by the third day, I was taking anything and everything I could get my hands on to kill the pain and was still trying to have a good visit.
Unfortunately, teeth, like other parts of the human body are going to do what they gosh darn please no matter what you do to take care of them. I've put thousands of dollars in my mouth and it's like a big black hole for money. I'm at a loss what to do. As it stands now I've had to buy a $120 antibiotic to kill the infection and will probably have to have the tooth pulled and another put in its place. What a pain. I would just like to be able to eat without worrying about every bite that goes in, whether it's too tough or too hard or too sticky or too crunchy...
