I set this group up some months ago only to lose the URL to it. Thanks to Lonestar1 I found my way back.

Sorry for not being around. I was surprised to see so much activity on a group that I founded. Thanks to all of your for doing that. Thanks to Lonestar1 for being available on the group. I will make an effort to hang out here more. I have a lot to share much of it information that seems to be a secret.

My intention is not to offend but don't be surprised if I don't pull any punches. I do have a set of villians. I am so appalled by the powerful corporations looking out for their own interests in areas that have a direct impact on our health and well being. We have the best regulations that money can buy. Where are those Congressman that are suppose to represent us?

I have another serious concern that ties into this whole picture. How can we stand back and allow our home, the planet Earth, to be so abused? Whether you believe climate change is a direct result of our thoughtless industrialization is irrevelant. That is only the worse of our issues. It is not the only one threatening our survival. Does not the Christian ethic say we are custodians of the Earth? Where does the Bible give us the right to abuse where we live? Are not all creatures on the Earth GOD's creatures? 50% of the species on the earth will be extinct in 20 years. The oceans are dying. The climate is changing. We have poisoned our environment. The air is not good to breath. The water is not safe to drink. The food is not healthy anymore. It is past time that we said "No More".

I am not against progress. I happen to enjoy the life style it has given me. I am against mindless pursuit of the destruction of our environment in the name of a dollar. We are all responsible. If we didn't purchase things in plastic, it wouldn't be floating in the oceans or be buried in our land fills.

How can we build an entire economy on a non-renewable resource that pollutes our environment. And why are we still wondering what to do about it?
Where are the leaders to talk about conservation and energy independence?

The US must lead into the next evolution. We are such a poor example to the world. We are no longer the good guys. We have become the bad people our parents warned us against. And we want the rest of the world to be like us whether they want to be or not.

If the US doesn't take the proper stand right now, these problems will threaten the very survival of our species.

Change starts with you. Tag you're it.
