I'm sorry I've neglected everyone. We're playing catch up since I got sick & Tom evicted our tenants. We're still cleaning & repairing...4 weeks later...I put a sign in the window but haven't posted any ads yet....Most of the work seems to be falling on my shoulders...Thank God for my 83 yr old mother, she loves to clean & paint. She told hubby that I fired her last week...I didn't but we had painted jsut about everything that didn't move.
I'm off to chaulk the bathtub in the apartment now.

My father is about to be 89, so I've been making a crazy memory quilt for him so i've been sorting, scanning, repairs about 200 photos, then printed them onto fabric, made sure they were set, & I'm starting to put it all together now. Each photo is frame in a 2 inch wide strip of cloth & by the end, it will probably only be 1" frames around the photos.
My folks have had a home on the Jersey shore for 50+ years.... they bought it when mom was pregnant with me, so I'm keeping that a mystery.
So I have photo's from the 1890's, the depression, World War II, photos from when Dad was 12 walking the streets of Center City by a street corner photographer. Just about all of his grand children, & great grand children.
So side 1, the Jersey shore themed side, is pretty much done. The other side, hasn't gotten there yet. I wish I had the photos from the Jersey shore in the 1800's, but the ones out there are copyrighted & no one is willing to give me a break on allowing me to print their copyrighted photos. I was hoping since I asked, & it was for my father, they would cut me a break & not charge me an arm & 2 legs.
I also opened my web site for my digitized designs & resale of clipart, view link 've been very very very busy.... not to mention a case of bronchitis & pneumonia in there, I've been very busy & stressed.
Tomorrow we leave for VA so that I can pick up a new sewing machine for my business, someone is giving me a big break on the cost so the 300 mile round trip drive will be worth it :) . But gifts this year are gonna be tight.... I don't think I am gonna get my special gifts for all the nieces & Nephews (that includes the greats in that list)which now have reached the 24.... I only have 2 siblings & I never reproduced so you can see the immense cost that is starting to occur. I thought it was bad when i was single, but it's gotten worse since I've married, add another 4 kids to that.
Now that we have gotten instant downloads conquered on my web site, I plan on adding some of my stuff & if I can talk my cousin into allowing me to post her water color work... I keep telling her she can eaily translate her medium to the computer, but she is still resistant. Kass is a juried artist that has pieces in the National Gallery. I just wish cous would allow me some time to teach her Corel or one of the other softwares.

I hope that the new yaer will allow me to get active with my groups again. I've just been so stressed with my health issues & craziness in general around here.... I need more my time.
