In west Tx. around my area there is tons of cedar trees. These trees are good for attracting TICKS and lighting which causes fires which burns the house down. But in the winter when the freeze comes their little seed pods burst open and send pollen everywhere. This year we have had several freezes then the weather warms up and the pollen is in the thousands. Back and forth it goes this year, and the third time apparently nailed me. So normally this means a visit to a doctor but for the third time my new doctor has retired, thats 3 of them. I have to go find a new doctor again, don't know what it is about me but they keep quitting, the doctors!! Well I don't have one and I would rather die then go to the ER. Fortunately there is a new product out on the market that is over the counter. Mucinex, I may have spelled it wrong but the stuff works. When my dad was dieing from his lung trouble this was one of the things to help him.
I have been taking this pill to survive the crap that cedar fever causes. I say this in such a crude way since coughing until your insides feel like your going to turn yourself inside out is not my idea of fun. And forget sleep, lay down, pass out and up one pops, coughing. And the best part, ice water taste so wonderful, so one drinks bottle after bottle or glass after glass with ice. Now your sloshing but your throat feels better, for the moment. Here we go again, run, faster before the coughing starts, get to the bathroom, quick, quicker, cause your overfull bladder is going to unload all 4 gallons of water you just had somewhere!
Opps, more clean clothes. I am on the mend now but 10 days past has been a bit of a trial. The dogs are thrilled to see me since all this began, heck my sister is thrilled to see me and I live next door.
