Out of the mouths of babes and fools comes the wisdom of the Ages, or so the scripture goes, I think. (pause) So how much more can we get from "regular people"???? You have something to contribute, probably: Even in "enjoying life" we usually find out way into "doing some good." Don't we???? Now, granted, some people have, in the past, been "pretty destructive," but, hey: That ain't most of us, is it???? KEEP IT IN DA ROAD!!!!! (an olde, very Christian, expression)(not limited to "Christians")(pause)
I'm reminded of a movie: "Count Three and Pray" wherein the frontiersman preacher, an older, roustabout, kinda guy, who establishes, or tries to, a little church out in the boonies, is avoided -- or worse -- by his "congregation,"(I think he's avoided, or beaten, by about everybody.) (pause)Anyway, finally somebody from the congregation, in a service, shouts from the pews(?),"Tell us about something you know!!!! Tell us about SIN!!!!" (pause)
Now this guy, like me, is a sinner. In the movie, I believe he fought a lot, before he began preaching -- I lost most of my fights, in the end: All of them.('nuff said.)
But: If you want me to tell you...rotten stuff...well, look at my past blogs...I've done about everything but murder, and I'm guilty of that in thought.
You wanna sin: It is, Unfortunately, your choice. We all sin: Go out and make yourself miserable -- I can't stop you.
But I hope you'll take a minute to thank God, any God: I prefer Jesus and stay away from "second bananas:": I refer, here, to a certain "fallen angel" who, in the form of "counter-productive" stuff, like "friction" (which is unavoidable), ruins us, all.
You want good stuff: Take all that "stuff" you've got, and PRAY!!!! (You're, and I'M, gonna need it.)
No advice: This is supposed to be a Life-line to the lost: That's me, too, sometimes. Maybe now.
I didn't intend to raise your wrath, but I love you, in the generic, and I see so much "drek" in the world, that I have to try to reach out to those of you who need "inspiration" or "hope" or the strength to go on.
Keep the faith.
c/o a very messed-up, attempting to be: "Christian"
