I'm not a church goer. But I do go to religious ceremonies such as, midnight mass, sunrise service on easter, seder dinner, and relatives confirmations.
I think the way things have become so politically correct, it is necessary to not let it keep me from saying Merry Christmas louder and more often.
Does anybody have similar feelings.

When i was a teen i lived back east and my best friend was Jewish. We exchanged gifts she always wrapped mine in Christmas colors and i wrapped hers for Hanakuh--blue & white. We're talking the late sixties, it wasn't about being PC it was about having respect for each other.
A very spiritual person i used know would say that we put out as much negativity when we take offense as when we give it. i think only the most meanspirited person takes offense if you wish them a Merry Christmas in complete ignorance of what their faith is. Most people will take it as intended...a wish for joy & peace in their life. If, however, you know they are not Christian or maybe have no faith at all...i don't see it as PC but rather as one human being respecting another to say 'Have a good holiday or enjoy the time off'.
