I wanted to make this my first retirement trip so I went down for a week during May and hoped it would be cool enough. It was too hot! However, my luck was as usual - bad!
I took in Cher's show plus two Cirque du Soleil shows - LOVE and O. Cher was in great form. I loved LOVE and had a fantastic seat. Boy, did the images bring back memories!
But Las Vegas is almost overgrown. It was nothing like the city I visited nearly 15 years previously. And, of course, most of the places I saw in the mid to late 60s are gone.
