In six days, I'll be in Harlem wearing my "Freedom to Marry" button. In six days, I my friends in California, Florida and Arizona will reject bigotry and show my home state of Ohio what real Americans do when faced with the choice of discrimination or fairness. In six days, yes, we elect new President and stand up to our bigotries, but we also stand up to our bigotries when we stand with gay couples. I am optimistic.
