windy day.

ended up going out and purchased some plaster houses and trees from someone who had them stored in her basement. don't know if I will be able to use them all but as the stuff is no longer being made that I can find, will take all I can get. well may be. I have so many blanks now one can't get into my studio!

knitting a hat. or trying to. did one a long long time ago and trying to decipher what I did while I am knitting the new one. have to get started soon making the stocking I want to give to my mother. will put her gift card in it. She doesn't want STUFF. SO I may just go with a check. True, she has more than she will use in several lifetimes and as she does't work or is actively involved with anything there doesn't seem to be a point. So I try to give what she can use most.

Energy here tonite. I am SOOOO glad. there is nothing better for stress and aches and pains then when we get together to run Energy. IT has been almost 20 years now that we have come together to support each other. It has been such a blessing.

Interesting post on the beaders site. about making things other than earrings and necklaces. I always think in terms of beadweaving and not stringing. Maybe because I have never really done much in the way of stringing. I decided to post a little wall hanging here that I did from Susan Cooper pattern. It hung in an art show at the local Center for the Arts during one of their exhibitions. I find I like doing an art type project with beads as much or more than doing jewelry. My husband gives me a lot of jewelry and has taken up Chain Maille. So I have ornaments galore to make me glamorous.

well. need to get back to work. I always vacuum the furniture. One of my friends is allergic to cats. the Bengal breed does not seem to bother her much nor my daughter in law who is also allergic. BUT I take precautions anyway.
