Just when I clicked over to EONs to write a note to someone, I thought I was in the wrong place. Why, when you call yourself 'Boomers' would you want to mess with my head like this? I am a "Boomer" and kind of proud of that fact, but I thought I was done trying to figure out how to navigate around the EON's site. I don't consider myself to be dumb or not caring whether I can catch-on quickly or not, but give me a break! Do you realize I'm self taught on this piece of technical equipment? Because even though my kids promised to help me when I inherited this PC, they now laugh and don't even try to pretend anymore that they read my emails that I send to them. If they did read them, they would find themselves as well informed as I am on the political stance of AARP and maybe stem cell research and one of my biggest passions, Breast Cancer awareness. I don't mean any of these to be taken lightly, but surely you can see where I'm coming from. Do you know I just learned how to cut and paste a url? Yes, I had to figure it our for myself and even though I've tried several times, it didn't work until just a few minutes ago when I tried to 'Boom' something or someone. I really didn't think it would work so I wasn't quite prepared and also forgot what I was booming in the first place. So if anyone finds it, please be kind. I have uploaded or downloaded, whatever side of the globe you're on, some photos, but I don't have a lot of them at my fingertips so I put something in that I had, that I sent one of the kids for some reason or another. I am going to get some together whenever I find that box again with all the good photos in it. I run across the other one all the time. Anyway, now I have to start all over again. I didn't get to just click on here, leave a note and go on my merry way. I've been stuck on here for a couple of hours now trying to figure out what I should do next. Boomers really do need to try different things to help boost their memory and keep up with all the new things to come. Why do you insist on using this web site to keep us on our toes and up-to-date with technology? I thought that's what the Computer and tech group was for. I know most of you will say that I shouldn't be having so much trouble because you just zoom through all the sites and can upload and download anything your heart desires. You probably learned to use your computer at work, school, senior center, or library or where ever it is you came from, but I worked for our beloved government and my computer consisted of one program and putting in words or data where you come from that ask a specific question and it would only take one answer. I am learning as you can see, but couldn't you ease in some of these changes instead of putting them out here all at once? Well, here's the good badges to everyone who took it all in stride and jumped right in and here's the good-sense-of humor badge that keeps the rest of us coming back again and again and again. o btw, i hope you lol when u no im jk n il get the note out asap. i got lingo frm grndtr who is good at this stuff n tnks i tlk like ths al the time. omg i hope i don't find this stf the nxt time i clx on to EONs. Maybe we can make up our own language the next time we want something new. I'll get to that note sometime....
