Thank you my friend!...

I had surgery on Tuesday and only a few people knew about it, it wasn't major, but hey, surgery is surgery.

I was able to come home the next day, which is always a good thing. I had wonderful care and treatment, every nurse, doctor, aide were all fantastic, and helpful, which makes your stay in the hospital that much better.

I get home, into bed, and keep falling asleep, then wake up, back to sleep, I don't usually go through feeling useless, but I sure was yesterday, it was nice. Nothing was expected of me, my daughter made me jello, my grandson was in school, and I was relaxing - what more could you want.

Then my daughter comes in my room with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, they are from my very dear friend Connie - who I was blessed to have met here on Eons.

She sent this bouquet with her "Thinking of You" wishes all the way from Tennessee, I was overwhelmed! How awesome is this? That someone you meet on this on line community you are able to bond with, form a true friendship and know you have found a friend for life.

Life is too darn short to not make the most of all those friendships who come in your path. Reach out, make a friend, be kind to that friend, and you will be the one who benefits.

Friendship is priceless, and I found a true friend here and will never forget it.

Even if Eons is gone tomorrow, I know I will stay in touch with my dear friend, because we care about one another, our lives, family, and I feel like it is because of Eons that I met Connie.

Connie - thank you from the bottom of my heart for the beautiful flowers, you kind wishes, but most of all you friendship. You are one in a million.
