My own true north went a swapping!
Back in 2001 everyone thought I was nuts. Why? I designed an unique Internet program from scratch. A program no one would ever dream would work or come true.
My goal was to change and improve the lives of parents, women, men and children. I needed to inspire and empower learning communities to envision and implement technologies for the purpose of improving their lives.
And allow all minds big or small to come and realize what peace really is.
The Internet program is called Swaphandmedowns.com. From the start, I have receive thousands of online visitors a year. Most leaving my site with something they never had before.
The knowledge that out there in this world there are people who do care.
Rich or poor or middle income. . Swaphandmedowns is giving them ways to help each other.
Some people are even getting their own rewards for freely helping families in need and asking nothing back for the deed.
What I have done and what my visitors learned they can do for others has changed lives for people and children. Including helping families across the globe share free used clothing, toys and books. And parents getting that free college degree information to help improve their incomes.
Allot of children are going to school wearing nicer clothing when they had barely a shirt on their back. Most of the kids are meeting other kids across the USA and other nations the first time by sharing their recycle items.
What better way to help children learn about peace than have them share what little they have? Grow up to know that we are all alike after all.
I never had a desire and active pursuit to leave a legacy. But I often wonder when I am gone how many people will leave an imprint on this earth from what they learned over at www.swaphandmedowns.com.
Last of all, I am so glad to know I am not nuts but just kind of unique.
