A view from one of the bridges in Venice, Italy...

My, my when one tries to do more than one thing, more than one thing tends to get done - but not always in a timely fashion! I have a sermon to write, a newsletter to finish, motherly obligations to attend to, a book show to prepare for, work to go to and wouldn't you know it - the power on my computer quit!

So my well intentions for updating and posting on eons as well as elsewhere went by way of the repair shop. It did cause me to give pause and finish up the vacation project. (Okay, if truth be told, I only started, but am half way there!).


The project is one I started with my kids a long time ago. Everywhere we travel we collect postcards. Instead of sending them out, we write about the days events and what we saw or what emotion, thought or impact the place or event had on us. Somewhere along our journey we purchase a key chain of our vacation land/place and when we get home, hole punch the postcards, string them on the key chain and hang them in the hallway.


Each is a very real and present reminder of our journey; each is very personal and filled with memories as well as a very professional looking picture of our adventure. So for those who asked for more pics I'm posting another one of our latest escapade and I vow this week, with this new updated computer I will get caught up!
