I took a bit of a break from posting on eons back in the early part of the summer. It was getting too nice to sit indoors, and the golf links were calling me.
Well, when I checked back in after about a month, I discovered some changes in the profile page, and that's fine, I have no problem with change...hey change is good.
One difference, however, disappointed me and I hadn't even noticed it right away. The eons badges that so many of us were awarded over time were no longer visible anywhere on the profile page.
Heck, I liked those things, not that I'm into back slapping or anything, but what the hey, I put a lot of time and effort into participating in different group
activities, and earned them. I missed not seeing them on both mine and my friends' profile pages.
I'll bet they're lots of other folks who feel the same way I do.
Long story short, since I'm not the best at analyzing how to post things, I decided I'd copy and paste them in the photo file. I think they look good there, they'll move around a bit and share space with other treasured photos I post.
In closing, I felt the badges plus a nicely layed out profile page, showed me someone took the time to care, and might be a person I'd be interested in talking to. There's nothing more boring than clicking on a profile page, that is closed to friends only, or hasn't been updated with new things in awhile...and as Forest Gump would say, "that's all I've got to say about that".
