Ann and Nancy Wilson have a cease and decist letter to the McCain/Palin campaign.

Specifically, the Heart women are upset that the GOP has used their classic "Barracuda" as a theme song for Sarah Palin. TMZ obtained a statement from Heart's rep, who says "The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted that permission."

You would have thought they might have checked first, AFTER:

- Being sued by Jackson Browne

- Using Wayne and Garth characters from Wayne's World without permission

- Served with a ceased and decist letter for using a Frankie Valli song

- The Theme from Rocky without permission

Then again, maybe not.

And the SILLY THING is, if they had played to their Two BASE Groups, they could have avoided all this nonsense regarding, 'Copyright Infringement'.
