Practicing yoga for me is my commitment to developing "awareness." Over the years, my commitment to regular yoga classes has been spotty at best, but when I am in a "yoga groove", what really gets better, besides my lower back, is my attention, my awareness of the moment, my deeper sense of living in the moment, right here, right now. When I can be more present in the moment, I am able to observe my thoughts, my words, my actions...life becomes a bit more clear, calm, peaceful.
