Friday 8/19 mom still with us but not doing well
~of coarse they told us she would never be the same as before if she pulled through this. Suspect aspiration pneumonia...along with complications with her alziemers.

tues.10/16....Mom awake from 2AM on...wired to max...too much company...one right after the other..off all psycotropics...finally gone to sleep by 9:30 PM.

Last noc mom took a turn for the worse. 7th and final stage of Alziemer's along w/possible infection bilaterally in LE. IM antibiotics started w/o new lab to cover all bases..filling with fluid, in extemeties and abdomen.

Yesterday, Monday, 10/08/07 we brought Mom back to nursing home after a 10 day stay in the hosp for senior evaluation; due to her worsening alziemers. When we took her in to get her meds adjusted her skin integrity was all in good shape. And when ...

After quite a scare with Penny on 10/3 she is doing much better and even getting her appitite back....and i am breathing a little easier but still need to watch her for seizures caused by the ketamine given for sedation.

Today 9/24/07 we got a call from Tracy and Loren...they made it into Santa Rosa in time to take a walk to stretch their legs....she said she cried when she saw the mountains behind their apartment...and she cried at their splendor.
