I love summertime! The cooking channel, time with the cats and dog, THINKING and reading...so unlike the school year, when its lesson plans, rushed weeks, chores all weekend. Too bad working gets in the way of my couch princess lifestyle!

We're enjoying the Leakey area--tubing down the river, eating peaches and ice cream, savoring Medina apple pie. The rain beating on the tine roof wakened me at 6 AM. I'm sure the farmers are thrilled about the rain, and it freshened everything.
