My breasts a sight to surely please,
my new love had said to me.
And so, since I'm not one to tease
I said, "Hey, works for me!"
So off with the shirt, and off with the bra
He watched the show with open jaw.

My New Hobby: Poetry

You may ask why, at 53,
I’ve started writing poetry.
Ok, hell, I must admit
I’m 54... what of it?
My inspiration was the mirror
A need for something new was clear.
The things of which I used to brag?
Those not wrinkled seem to sag.
So as I write t...

My life has been a mystery,
to some of those most dear to me.
I moved north with gratitude,
Dues paid with prior servitude.
In loveless union, further jilted
For many years my spirit wilted.
Yet I saw within my reach
A better life and now I teach....

Slept so sexy, then I woke,
Only to find (this is no joke),
My boobs were gone! They weren't in my bra!
I'll report the crime! I'll call the law!
But wait....they're not stolen, they're still here
Just under my arms and facing the rear.

I spent a decade of my life waiting for a Christian husband. I hoped to be able to be a Biblically submissive wife in a holy union. When I met my second husband, he was active in a church. He tithed and then some. He read his Bible. He prayed with...

In my first marriage we followed traditional roles....I was responsible (with a little help) for most things inside the home, he did the yard work, home repairs (after long delays), and worked. But then I worked, too and while I got a little more ...
Fun With My Daughter

My daughter urged me to join Facebook. I did, and although I'm not the old hat at it that she is, I stop in most days for a few minutes.
This weekend I posted my status as a short poem:
Party of one, now becomes two...
one half is me, the other ...

I was rushed into my second marriage. Never again.
So then last November I met Tonto (Bill). We became friends slowly, and a couple of months later the interest became a little bit personal/romantic. By Valentine's Day we'd made plans to meet.......

I'm NOT Imagining Things!

Sometimes in our lives it takes an event of some sort to make us realize that a problem is truly a problem, and not our imagination. Here's one of those moments from my life:
I married for the second time in May of 2003. I had not known my spouse...

I had a long "girl talk" type of chat with my daughter Holly today. She shared something with me that made me feel a bit sad. When I lived in the Eskimo village, a native man did his best to win my heart. His name was Collins Sheldon, and he was a...
