Why join a group if your not going to be there

I''m just curious. Seems alot of ppl may join your group, but most of them don't even show up after they have joined, so what's the point of joining?

I'm just wondering why my speed is so good everywhere but here. I can speed through other places, But have to crawl like a snail here. No it's not my pc either. It's just here that it slows down. Is there a reason for that?
